Green Palm Publication, in line with its goals, and missions, and to offer its published works, attended the Muscat International Book Fair held in Oman in February 2023. This exhibition is one of the largest book fairs in the Arab world, and Green Palm Publications participated for the first time in the 27th edition of the event.
Iran also had set up a booth at the fair by the House of Books and Literature, presenting the works of its international publishers. According to the sales report that is available from Iran’s booth, the majority of books sold were copies of the Holy Quran. These copies were able to attract many people due to their unique calligraphy or distinctive illuminations. Moreover, there was a high demand for Arabic-translated quatrains, Shahnameh, and other works within the realms of classical literature and poetry.
Books in the children and adolescents category, as well as those about prominent Iranian Islamic figures such as Ayatollah Bahjat, Allameh Hassanzadeh, Imam Khomeini, and the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, also witnessed high attention at the fair.
